Summer Outreach Statement

Women in Panhellenic chapters may reach out to you over the summer to welcome you to UT Austin and promote the sorority experience. Contact with chapter members over the summer does not guarantee an invitation to the chapter during Primary Recruitment but instead serves as a casual, peer-led introduction to life at UT Austin. 

You may not receive outreach from active members, and this is totally okay and expected. If you wish to connect with Panhellenic women, we encourage you to politely and respectfully reach out to individual women. If you are reached out to and do not want to engage or continue the conversation, it is okay to politely acknowledge and decline. 

Please refer to the guidelines given to chapter members about summer outreach and promoting the sorority experience at UT Austin. Any information received by UPC in this manner will not affect Recruitment outcomes or experiences.
